This week Together for Peace presents Harry Anastasiou.
Harry Anastasiou is a professor of International Peace and Conflict Studies and former Director of the Conflict Resolution Program at Portland State University. His work focuses widely on nationalism, ethnic conflict, multi-dimensional peacebuilding, and international peace and conflict issues. Harry has been a leader in peacebuilding initiatives and facilitation in the Eastern Mediterranean, engaging Greek and Turkish citizens and policy leaders from Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus.  Since 2012, Harry has been invited as a consultant by the Bureau of Intelligence and Research of the US Department of State to assist in briefing newly appointed US Ambassadors to the Republic of Cyprus. Harry was appointed as an academic advisor and member to the Rotary Peace Centers Committee of Rotary International, as well as one of the co-founders of the Rotary Action Group for Peace.
